kronckew Posted August 22, 2007 Share Posted August 22, 2007 when running CCleaner 2 beta build 475, it initially worked OK, but has now started to display the (image attached below) error while halfway thru the cleaning cycle. it does this when run at startup or when run manually. reinstallation on it's own does not help. reinstalling the old 1.x then reinstalling 2 beta does work for a couple of days (and thru a few reboot cycles) before the error happens again. system is a p4e-3ghz, 1.5 gb ram, via chipset, 2 sata drives, ati 9700 pro video card, windows xp pro wi. all updates. Guest MrT Posted August 22, 2007 Share Posted August 22, 2007 As a suggestion, you can try checking only one item at a time in the tree and run the cleaning process manually until you get the error to show up. While this won't solve the problem it will help people at Piriform to pin-point/narrow down what item is causing the issue.
