aem Posted May 17, 2005 Share Posted May 17, 2005 I've found that I have to reboot my computer twice to make the index.dat file change to the 16kb default size using the 'Run Cleaner when the Computer Starts Option' Set. DjLizard Posted May 17, 2005 Share Posted May 17, 2005 When the computer starts, the index is already locked by Windows - CCleaner runs and then flags it for deletion - therefore you have to reboot again, and Windows will delete it.
