I am getting this error message when I try to use CCleaner:

CCleaner: CCleaner.exe ? Application Error

The instruction at ?0x660938c3? referenced memory at ?0x0054295c?. The memory could not be ?written?.

Click on OK to terminate the program.

Any suggestions to help?

I see from the post here you were having problems

Did you try totally uninstalling CCleaner via add and remove and looking in c/program files to make sure it hadn't hung around?

Did you manage to install and run it okay since you did the above post?

If not, did you choose save to desktop when downloading and not run?

I have re-booted. I have also removed CCleaner with the add/remove and then looked in C: for any remnants. Also did a 'search' for any CCleaner and could not find anything. Then went to website and downloaded CCleaner to desktop and then ran setup. Setup went fine but when I ran CCleaner I got the same problem. It seems like the program starts running, gets part way through, and then I get the CCleaner closed due to a problem message and if I re-try, I get the error message I mentioned in earlier post. It does seem that if i re-open CCleaner and re-run it 2-3 times, eventually it does go all the way through. Not sure what I am doing wrong. Any help would be appreciated, this never seemed to happen before. Thanks.
