Jedimark
Tried to scan my 500GB Western Digital USB Hard Drive using the latest version (1.02.086). Previously I got the following error message: "Failed to reserve memory" ... but now I'm getting this message: "bad allocation". Also with this new version Recuva always crashed on exiting the application. Vista's Problem Reports and Solutions Centre gives the following information about the crash: Problem Event Name: APPCRASH Application Name: recuva.exe Application Version: 1.2.0.86 Application Timestamp: 46923171 Fault Module Name: ntdll.dll Fault Module Version: 6.0.6000.16386 Fault Module Timestamp: 4549bdc9 Exception Code: c0000005 Exception Offset: 00062086 OS Version: 6.0.6000.2.0.0.256.1 Locale ID: 2057 Additional Information 1: ee21 Additional Information 2: 25e48371162d873903ea756be1694e48 Additional Information 3: 2925 Additional Information 4: 5901742770dc0eaaef159811f9d2f4a3 Regards, - Mark
Guest MrRon
Can you run Recuva in debug mode and post the log here Thanks MrRon
Jedimark
I ran the application using the /DEBUG parameter and got the same error message. Were you expecting it to produce an error log somewhere. I checked in "C:\Program Files\Recuva\" and there was nothing in there. - Mark
Guest MrRon
/debug should create a log in the /Program files/Recuva folder, note that the argument is case sensitive. MrRon
