I ran the application using the /DEBUG parameter and got the same error message. Were you expecting it to produce an error log somewhere. I checked in "C:\Program Files\Recuva\" and there was nothing in there. - Mark

Tried to scan my 500GB Western Digital USB Hard Drive using the latest version (1.02.086). Previously I got the following error message: "Failed to reserve memory" ... but now I'm getting this message: "bad allocation". Also with this new version Recuva always crashed on exiting the application. Just noticed a new version of Recuva... so scanned the USB Drive again. No crash this time however I get the message "Failed to reserve memory" in the status bar at the bottom of the application. - Mark

Firstly can I just say that it's quite annoying to have to subscribe to a forum in order to submit a bug. Secondly - I also want to say what a brilliant application this is! Thirdly - My bug report.
