RIS
I have been running CCleaner under Windows XP, so I am very familiar with it. I recently switched to Vista Ultimate (32 Bit). I have found that typed URL's in Internet Explorer 7 are not removed when I run CCleaner. In CCleaner, under "Windows->Internet Explorer", all check boxes are checked. When it runs, IE still shows any URL's I typed into the address bar. Is this a known issue? I have seen this problem posted by other users, but I did not find a response. Moderators rridgely Posted May 11, 2007 Moderators Share Posted May 11, 2007 I've seen this too. The best option is just to disable autocomplete if you don't want past sites coming up in the address bar/search bars. Tools>internet option>content. Then where it says autocomplete click settings and uncheck all of the boxes you don't want to show old data. I know its not exactly a fix but thats one way.
