Those are upd to date, (ish).

I have Win 10 build 19042.685, but I did manually update last week to do a removal of the built in Flash. (KB4577586).
It's not an Automatic Update yet, probably next Tuesday.

Your Malwarebytes is the latest version at 4.3.0.98, although Update package is now 1.0.35465, Component package 1.0.1130.
If you are running Malwarebytes real-time it should update those itself.

I've not known Malwarebytes to affect CCleaner, but sometimes one of the real-time modues can do odd things and block other apps from working properly, even when excluded.
However if you are still having problems with CCleaner with MB4 turned off then it seems to be ruled out anyway.

Which would then seem to point to Windows itself.

I'd do a restart (not shutdown/reboot) just to make sure there is nothing pending from Windows.

Then I'd run Windows built in Disk Clean-Up, selecting 'Clean up System Files'. - It can take a couple of hours to complete if you've not done one for a while.
That has been known in the past to 'fix' whatever was causing CCleaner to hang/crash, (I've not seen that for a while though).

I'd also check the Windows security App and Browser Control settings, particularly: Reputation-based Protection>Potentially unwanted app blocking.
Microsoft have a habit of suddenly deciding that CCleaner is potentially unwanted.
It gets sorted out, but then someone at Microsoft does it again.
(It's based on what CCeaner would do a number of years ago and not what it does now; bugs the hell out of Piriform staff who have to point out again to Microsoft that they have already cleared this up with Microsoft).

Just to make sure; it's only CCleaner that is giving you a problem, you aren't seeing any other odd behaviour?

The Potentially unwanted app blocking is set on off. I did Disk Cleanup. I'm not sure of how to install the windows update before "next tuesday"... I'll do a better search (Insider program, dont know why, is not giving me any updates. And yes: no other program seemed to be affected :(

This is a user forum, not official support.
It may take a while for someone to answer depending on when another user who may be able to help logs on.

You say that you have problems installing CCleaner, and then when you do install it (by using the slim installer) you have problems getting it to run.

The install problem (with only the Slim installer working) usually indicates either an older Windows version or a compatibility setting for an old Windows version, or an AV clash.
The won't run problem usually indicates an AV clash.

I do note that you say you have no 3rd party AV, but that you are running Windows Defender and Malwarebytes.

    Can you tell us:
    Your Windows version and Build?
Which version of Malwarebytes you have, and is it running real-time?

Didnt mean to be rude, sorry :D.

Windows 10 Pro, Versione 2004 (build SO 19041.685)

Malwarebytes version 4.3.0.98, update package version 1.0.35427. I tried closing/disabling it and already added the folder and single file to exclusions of Malwarebytes.

  3. As usual I was goin to clean all the bad things I have on my computer, but every time I clicked on the Cleaning window (not the clean button) the program crashed.
So I uninstalled it and well... the installation crashes everytime I click on Install. So, i tried the slim version that correctly was installed but it won't open now, just crashes (both regular and x64)!

    What I tried:

    -portable and slim version
    -older versions
    -already deleted regedit files
-I have no antivirus, just windows defender sh*t
    -debug

Edit (I have MalwareBytes, but CCleaner folder is in exclusions)

I already found alternatives but my OCD is driving me crazy.
Could you please drive me through some solutions?
And sorry for my english ❤️
