  1. My Ccleaner Free has crashed twice since it was upgraded to v5.74.8198 64bit. I have never had problems with it crashing until this version was installed. It crashed during a normal clean.

Edge Legacy ("old Edge") is not removed/uninstalled and isn't meant to be, it's just hidden from view although it can be accessed. So in other words if things in the system utilize it they can continue doing so, and cleaning tools such as CCleaner will still be able to clean the cache, cookies, etc.

    See here:
    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/deployedge/microsoft-edge-sysupdate-access-old-edge

Thank you very much for the information. I understand completely.

  3. Several days ago I downloaded the new Edge Chromium  without any problems . I have noticed that when I use CCleaner I still see the old Edge show up and it has cache content in it which is Cortana related to be cleaned. Now I do not use that annoying Cortana at all and I have that worthless thing turned off in every way possible such as I can. What should I do? Should I just uncheck the old Edge contents on what to clean? Should I just wait until MS replaces everyone's with the new build?

    Thank you
