Gotchos

Why have I received an email to renew my CC cleaner subscription and pay £24.95 when I'm only running the free version (confirmed by actually running the software to ensure I was correct) and never subscribed to what the email refers to as CC Cleaner Professional Plus? I find it worrying that the email states that the subscription fee will be taken automatically. If the only way to stop this is to cancel and stop using even the free version then I will do so.
