  1. An issue is simply an issue. It does not necessarily need to be cleaned. The last little dropping from ccleaner used to bother me, but now I use it to tell me I am done. Guess it is all a matter of perception?

  2. Someone smart once said "If there was not a god we would invent one", and another said: There is a god, and all we need to remember is that it's not me.

  3. Thanks, Hazelnut. At least I now have a guide. Now if I can only figure out why a HD has the green led on the bottom where no one can see it, I will go back to sleep.

  4. I have a question for heads clearer than mine. Why does the red fan wire connect to the yellow power supply molex connection? I do it, but why have a color code that is not followed? I really need to get a life.

  5. Be careful what you wish for. Most folks who have never done this end up losing data and reformatting anyhow, and at best you will achieve some security (the entire drive could fail) at the expense of a slower computer. I use another drive to backup with, and the expense is nominal. About 60 cents a GB used. Partitions were necessary at one time, but not anymore. Save yourself some grief and practice on a drive other than your primary. You will need an external drive connected through the usb port.

  6. If you deleted it, you would certainly reformat. That is the windows source file that anomg other things allows you to add/remove windows components. I'm not sure if windows WILL delete it, since it needs the file to function. You need to be careful mucking about in there. The thigh bone is connected to the leg bone....

  7. Open IE, click tools at the top, and select internet options. Type or paste the address of your homepage in the block and apply. If the address of your homepage is there, click "use current". After you have it set, find the cookie in ccleaner and save it so it will not be cleaned again.

  8. To resolve this issue, visit the following Symantec Web site:

    http://www.symantec.com/search (http://www.symantec.com/search)

In the Search box, type 2004090712504306, and then click Message: "Norton AntiVirus 2005 does not support the repair feature." to locate the latest information from Symantec about this issue. For more information about the Norton AntiVirus or Norton SystemWorks software, see the product documentation.

    Good ole googlegoop.
