Launchy is the much revered application for me since the days of Windows XP. It is of even greater worth in context to my current Win 8 version as the same goes deprived of the Start Button & the respective Menu. Hence, it has been "Voluntarily" installed by me. MSCONFIG>>Task Manager>>Start-up Items do depict its Resource Usage as HIGH, & so of 'Greenshot' ::Screenshot Capture Utility, as well!
I think..let me try & make a transition to 'Find & Run Robot' from the Volunteers of Donationcoder.com....Probably that boasts of a low resource usage in comparison to Launchy.
Nevertheless, Many Thanks for your Time & effort:-)

Hello mta, Do you mean that if I remove launchy altogether, or just the associated Start-up Item? In both cases, there'll be no trace of it, Iam sure. Moreover, CCleaner is never able to portray any dependencies of a specific Start-up Item!
-
Yes mta,
You are absolutely right that MBAM thrives only on the basis of an Active Service, & there is no exclusive Start-up Item associated to it, as checked through msconfig utility too!
Will you please do me a favor to scour the list of "Services" as collated through msconfig, & let me choose the ones that are not really required, & are proving to be a mere Resource Hog. I have already made the "Hide Microsoft Services" enabled, & thus you won't have to skim through the listed items onerously. Please go through the attached Screenshot, & accept my Thanks in advance.:-)
PS:: SuperAntispyware is being used as a stand-alone product only, with no access to Real-Time Protection, then, why does the respective Service runs all the time?

Yes, I would like to confirm that Iam on the latest Trial Version--2.0.2 of Malwarebytes Antimalware. I know the Right click on the tray icon does suggest to either enable/disable the "Start with Windows" option.
So, all in all, You suggest that its an issue with the Version, instead of Ccleaner's inability to pick up the respective Start-up entry?
-
Iam quite frequent with AntiMalware scans, especially the ones from- Malwarebytes AntiMalware & Super Antispyware, & those didn't find anything ever!
But, Iam trying to understand that what does No. 3 signify in context to the Launchy's Start-up Item? Are there any familiar, or not so familiar Software entities too that hosts Multiple instances/dependencies for the respective Start-up Items?
I have seen any before this occasion!

Hello There!
This is Weird, & I suppose a one off case when CCleaner was observed as failing to list a Start-up entry associated to Malwarebytes Antimalware under the list of Enabled Start-up Items!
Though, Iam currently on the Trial version of the Malwarebytes Antimalware, & thus it is automatically configured to provide the Real-time protection & hence it is pre-configured to "Start with Windows".
However, Iam unsure that why CCleaner is not able to catch hold of this entry within its list of Start-up items!?
Any ideas on the same?

Hello There!
On scouring through the list of "Start-up Items" in my Windows 8 PC-64 Bit PC, Iam a bit apprehensive about the 3 instances/entries showing up under the Launchy Start-up Item!
I wish to ask if this is Normal, or probably indicates a hint of a prevalent Malware!?
Please refer to the screenshot to have a better understanding of the issue. Help in this regard will be sincerely appreciated.

Hello login123!
Opted for Malwarebytes Antimalware forum instead (have now only read your post!), & they appear to promote their own Product at the first place!
Have told me to run a Scan with that, & post its log.
I wonder..why don't this "Windows Defender" has this Log extraction facility? Iam left with only a Vertical Scroll bar to examine the detections, & rely solely on the art of taking Screenshots in order to share the Booby traps with Helping members like your goodself:-)
Nevertheless, I initially followed my own instincts to Download & run a quick scan of Super Antispyware, & all appeared well.
I'll certainly follow your advise to try out Imho with a no further delay. Thanks!

O my God! Do I need to repeat the entire story again? :-) Is there a no way to simply "Deport" my Concern to the new Forum without Signing up for their Services? Atleast, let me know which one specific to choose of?

Hello Hazelnut!
As soon as I disabled the quoted "Start Up" Items & ran the Quick Scan again through Windows Defender, it unveiled a Pandora's box!
Check out the screenshot again, & give me Big Cheers for this ' Smoking out' the Malware off their holes! :-)
Now I do not see the errant startup entries anymore.
Thank you.

Hello There!
My "Start-up Items" as viewed through the CCleaner Utility depicts a sudden intrusion of 3 new entries(screenshot attached)! Installed Windows Defender has also portrayed 3 banner warnings :: "Malware Detected, & Cleaning action has been initiated" !
I have no clue from where I caught hold of these! Windows Action Center has also flagged that Windows Defender wish to further share these entries with the Microsoft.
Though I have run its Quick scan & nothing alarming was found, still I would request the Community to shed more Light on theirs probable inception.
Yesterday, I tried opening an attachment named "Order Report.zip" from the mail message that masqueraded as a genuine email from amazon.co.uk; & only later I came to realize that I was spoofed into believing something which only turned out to be a Spam!
for the willing ones, Iam ready to fwd. the mail to enable its further scrutiny. Nevertheless, Help & Suggestion in this regard would be sincerely appreciated.

Hello There!
Friends, Iam tired of this vicious cycle of Uninstall-Install in order to equip my machine with the Latest version of CCleaner every second week!
Therefore, similar to all Browser-like Update Utility, why don't the Techies at Piriform contemplate over an inbuilt integration of an Update procedure?
For instance, going to Help>>About>> should be able automatically fetch the latest version available & hence I should be able to Update the same there & then!?
Isn't it feasible? Inputs will be sincerely appreciated.

Hello all!
You'll be surprised to note that "System Ninja" & not CCleaner is proving effective to get rid of the most of the Start-up entries!
Actually, to be very Frank, such a manipulation has been disabled from the Administrator's end & therefore Ccleaner quickly comes up with a Prompt:::" Failed to enable/disable. Access is denied."
However, look at System Ninja :-); it offers only a Ruthless Killing(Deletion) to these Memory Hogs at one go!
Isn't that fantastic? Now Iam only left with XP_EOS that appears to stay on irrespective of any effort. Nevertheless, I can manage with that!
Please deliberate on what's Good with latter choice?
-
Dear Both!
Thanks for the response. So all in all...I can disable 4 entries with ease; 3 related to NVidia & the one associated to XP_EOS. What does the one entry "Classbar" refers to?

CCleaner do not lists Malwarebytes entry under Start-up Items!?

Yes indeed, there is no point in making the Update services hover over your machine as I can be in charge of the same. What about implications of making these following services set to either Manual or Disabled altogether::
