  1. Well, I did run [competition] and CCleaner without Winapp2.ini before and it didn't happen so it has to be Winapp2.ini, right?
  2. I asked if there's an entry in Winapp2.ini that could have caused it. If there's not I would contact someone at [competition] and obviously not discuss it here.
  3. I recently ran [competition] with Winapp2.ini and it removed the settings of my start menu shortcuts. Specifically the "Run as administrator" preference was reset. This is the setting I mean. Do you guys know if this is a Winapp2.ini entry or did you maybe experience this yourself before? Any help is appreciated.
  4. I found a few entries with weird "Detect" lines and just wanted to make sure those are correct: DetectOS=|5.1 DetectOS=|6.1 DetectOS=|5.1 DetectOS=|5.2 DetectOS=|5.1 DetectOS=|5.1 Why the "|" for the DetectOSs?
  5. It didn't remove "Other Settings" for me. "Whitelisted Domains" I don't know about. It's true though that PB has to relearn which sites are tracking the user. That's why I put the warning.
  6. New Rule: [Privacy Badger*] LangSecRef=3026 SpecialDetect=DET_MOZILLA Default=False Warning=This will remove all filter settings. FileKey1=%AppData%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\*\jetpack\jid1-MnnxcxisBPnSXQ-eff@jetpack\simple-storage|store.json Privacy Badger saves all visited domains in that file and is thereby ironically a privacy threat itself.
  7. Me too. I can't download any .bat files from winapp2.com
  8. Let the hate flow guys. The question should maybe have been: I would appreciate if you might want to consider eventually releasing a new version of Winapp2.ini since there are a whole bunch of fresh additions, please. This is of course only if you could without complication find some spare time you would want to use for this operation. Have a nice and fulfilling day, dearest Sir. I think it may even reduce workload if you release a new version if many entries get added/changed.

  14. 1. Isn't that just the %temp% folder there? Should be cleaned by standard CCleaner without Winapp2. Please tell me if I'm missing something here. 2. Also make it like this: FileKey1=%LocalAppData%\Temp|*.*|RECURSE 3. Tip: You can use "[ code ]" and "[ /code ]" instead of "Quote". 4. Cleaning it for all users is only possible with CCleaner Professional or some other paid version, I guess.

  18. @dvdbane Thanks for the help. @siliconman01 Thanks. I understand know. It doesn't download the hosts after you deleted the files and then used "Mark all updates as not installed", right?
  19. I have the latest version of Hostsman but I can't find that option. Are you sure we are talking about the same program?
  20. Yes, the Steam entry and the TF2 one where intended to be separated. Secondly the Regkeys have nothing to do with Hostsman. Sorry for making such messy posts. The Regkeys belong to Windows Media Player I believe. Websites can identify the user using these keys and I don't think they have any other function.

They didn't cause any problems for me and shouldn't because they are classified as Tracks. Would be nice if someone could create a rule since I have no clue about RegKeys.
  22. Nice update and thanks a lot as always.
