  1. In the past, siliconman01 complained about the [Microsoft Edge More*] entry in the post listed below and then this entry was removed from the Winapp2.ini file. I have tested that entry on my system before I posted here and never had any issues whatsoever. Can someone test this entry on a Windows 10 system and see if they have any issue like siliconman01 reported? http://forum.piriform.com/index.php?showtopic=32310&page=262&do=findComment&comment=268427 [Microsoft Edge More*] LangSecRef=3022 Detect=HKCU\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\AppModel\SystemAppData\Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_8wekyb3d8bbwe DetectFile=%LocalAppData%\Packages\Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_8wekyb3d8bbwe Default=False FileKey1=%LocalAppData%\Packages\Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_*\AC\#!001\Microsoft\CryptnetUrlCache|*.*|RECURSE FileKey2=%LocalAppData%\Packages\Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_*\AC\#!002\Microsoft\CryptnetUrlCache|*.*|RECURSE FileKey3=%LocalAppData%\Packages\Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_*\AC\Microsoft\CryptnetUrlCache|*.*|RECURSE FileKey4=%LocalAppData%\Packages\Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_*\AC\MicrosoftEdge\User\Default\DataStore\Data|*.*|RECURSE FileKey5=%LocalAppData%\Packages\Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_*\AC\MicrosoftEdge\User\Default\DataStore\Indexed\Data|*.*|RECURSE

  4. I have been watching this area for a while now. I just installed AVG Protection and after I installed it, it left three SourceHash files in C:\Windows\Installer. I opened these SourceHash files with Notepad and they all have traces of AVG Protection msi installer. Please look at the attached snapshots: one shows AVG Protection msi installers Signature list and the other one shows the SourceHash files that were created after I installed AVG Protection.

  9. I have basically merged both of the entries together. I have tested these on Windows 10, no issues whatsoever.
  10. How about these? They are compatible with Windows 8/8.1 and Windows 10. The highlighted lines are for Windows 8/8.1. 11. Thank you! By the way, it was Ace Utilities not Acebytes and it is now fixed.
  12. Thanks for the update. Registry Backups - Ace Utilities entry is still there. Could you please fix the entries that APMichael mentioned in this post (http://forum.piriform.com/index.php?showtopic=32310&p=269440)? At least one of them is very important which is breaking up the Windows 10 Metro Apps (http://forum.piriform.com/index.php?showtopic=32310&p=269338).
  13. I didn't ask you the question, why are you jumping? You must have an attitude problem, which I have seen in you for the past 5 years. Do you think people like me who volunteer have no life? I'm in computers and I don't even have the time to scratch my head, but I still spare time to help people here. If the person who manages the Winapp2.ini file doesn't have time to release the updated file, the responsibility should be handed off to someone else. I don't even feel like responding to you in this forum but sometimes, I have no choice, so chill...
  14. Any plans of releasing the updated Winapp2.ini file this time?
  15. Revised Entry Changed the name from [Acrobat Reader DC*] to [Adobe Reader DC More*] to match up with CCleaner's entry. 16. I read one file that has information about a program (PowerDirector 13 Content Pack Premium.msi) and that has already been removed from my system.
  17. As per my understanding, these files hold the msi installers' content information.
  18. After reading the contents of the files, I don't think they have to do anything with Windows update.
  19. I have opened each and every file with Notepad to see the content. I'm attaching a SourceHash file's content with this message. Also, I asked a question in the WindowsTen Forums and here is the response: http://www.tenforums.com/general-discussion/34528-what-these-sourcehash-files.html

  21. I added both [store*] entries and none of them showed up. When I removed the Windows 8 [store*] entry, then the [store*] entry with DetectOS=10.0 started showing up.
  22. There is a difference between %AppData%\Microsoft\CryptnetUrlCache and Documents and Settings\zak\Application Data\Microsoft\CryptnetUrlCache. I think we should add Win XP location in that entry.
  23. Windows 8/8.1 apps still show up in CCleaner on Windows 10. How can we stop this behavior?
  24. You're correct! There was one value that was being removed and that was causing the issue. Please look at the attached snapshot. Revised Entry Changed FileKey1 & RegKey1 [Notification Cache*] DetectOS=6.2| LangSecRef=3025 Default=False FileKey1=%LocalAppData%\Microsoft\Windows\Notifications\wpnidm|*.*|RECURSE RegKey1=HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\PushNotifications\wpnidm If anyone got affected because of this entry and some of their Windows 10 built-in apps are not working, they can run the command listed below using PowerShell as Administrator.
