New topic posted re: cookies not being deleted. though I do agree that previous versions of CCleaner did not have this problem.

in lieu of "highjacking" another topic about cookies my problem is the cookies I've left to be deleted - after carefully moving the cookies I want saved to the right column of the Ccleaner screen - are NOT being deleted after I run the cleaner. I've tried checking them before and after cleaning, as well as rebooting my computer and checking again. The cookies to be deleted are all still there. This is an old Toshiba Satellite Laptop Windows XP Home Edition SP3 Firefox version 3.6.10 and the most recent version of Ccleaner Anything else you need to know? If so, please tell me where/how to find it. Thanks

my problem is that none of the cookies seem to be deleted since the most recent updates. i'm running IE8 on windows xp home edition service pack 3, along with firefox, and tho all the cookies i so carefully saved are still there, so are all the cookies i wanted deleted...i do check both before and after running the cleaner. what's up with that!
