  1. Thank you Piriform, I wasn't sure if the slim version was a delayed release or if you were discontinuing with it, but I see it is back up.
  2. I remember several previous versions of defraggler offering a slim version where you didn't have to say no the toolbar or as it is now chrome. Does anyone know if piriform is going to bring this back? I see that CCleaner still has a slim version available without the toolbar but not defraggler.
  3. Screenshots.pdf Above I have attached a couple of screenshots of the setting I selected and a picture of the Blue Screen. I can not find my windows minidump file. If I can offer anything else to help let me know. Edit: The error code at the bottom is 0x00000074
  4. No I don't have the minidump file. But I have a Virtual Machine I can test it in to get another one. Compatibility mode would only work when it is running in the native windows environment. It wopuld have no affect on the pre-boot defragmentation of a hard-drive since windows doesn't load. Same thing for the safe mode this wouldn't affect the pre-boot defrag either.
  5. I am Currently running Windows 7 Ultimate x64 Edition with latest updates and patches. I downloaded Version 2 Beta and tried the defrag on boot option and recieved a Blue Screen O'Death. I will post later with the error number but as a heads up to other Windows 7 Users try on a virtual machine or something first.

Spacesniffer [brief product description Latest release is SpaceSniffer is a freeWare (donations are welcome) and portable tool application that lets you understand how folders and files are structured on your disks. By using a Treemap visualization layout, you have immediate perception of where big folders and files are placed on your devices. Treemap concept was invented by Prof. Ben Shneiderman, who kindly permitted the use of his concept into this tool.] From Site. http://www.uderzo.it/main_products/space_sniffer/ Definitely a great program to find whats taking up room on your hard drive. Just download and unzip. It is self launching and requires no installation.
  7. That is indeed correct and you may want to copy the desktop shortcut if you want that also. I.E. * move %USERPROFILE%\Desktop\CCleaner.Ink * to C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Desktop\CCleaner.Ink or C:\Users\Public\Desktop\CCleaner.Ink
  8. How are you uncompressing it, standard installing or are you doing something different? Seven_Eleven is correct in trying to download from the builds page. It may help to tell us your operating system and exactly what you are doing otherwise you will not be able to get any more help than already given.
  9. Well it could be because your running Microsoft Vista Home Premium but i don't know for sure. Did you try uninstalling CCleaner and reinstalling? That may help.
  10. This would be great, I second that, but I think they could only do this if there is a business version created. You know because of Corporate policies and administrators not liking freeware applications.
  11. I would like to see a business or corporate version of Defraggler also. I saw that Piriform is creating a business vbersion for CCleaner, are there any plans in the future for defraggler?
  12. Here is a registry patch for the local computer to allow CCleaner to run on all user accounts. Launch Regedit by launching the run command and typing regedit. Navigate to the following key location: HKey_Local_Machine\software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Run Right Click in the right hand window & create a New STRING Value, Call it CCLeaner Double click on the new CCleaner string and put in the following value: C:\program files\ccleaner\ccleaner.exe /auto (Note: space between exe and /auto) I hope this helps.
  13. I am running CCleaner on a install of Windows 7 64bit, it runs absolutely fine for now. It registers it as a 32bit program, otherwise you should be fine.
