  1. On my machines I keep a lot of large files like ISO's and stuff that are rarely ever modified.  It would be nice if there was an option in the move large files to also have an age check.  That way larger files that keep getting updated regularly, like for antivirus, windows update databases, etc, wouldn't be put to the end, get fragmented when updated, then have to be put at the end again, over and over.

    Just a thought.

  2. I had asked a similar question in the recuva forum a long time ago, and someone told me the reason that Recuva still would find those file names but say it's unrecoverable is because in the MFT there was still a reference/pointer/something to the erased file, although Eraser did indeed make it not recoverable through Recuva, as you found out yourself.

    Hope that helps too.

  3. Win7 64-bit, latest version of ccleaner, turned on the shutdown after clean option by right-clicking the tray icon, then closed the lid on my laptop (which is set to trigger no action via Windows), low and behold an hour later I came back to a smoking hot laptop.  I have my screensaver set to lock my screen after 5 minutes, and ccleaner probably ran longer than that since my recycle bin was full but when I logged in to my still running laptop, ccleaner was not running still.

What does ccleaner use to trigger a shutdown?  i use psshutdown on my laptop to shut my laptop down hours later without issue, so i'm guessing ccleaner uses something else.

  4. For the ManyCam cleanup, what about cleaning up the AppData\Roaming\ManyCam\Settings\MoviesThumbnails folder?  It doesn't appear to remove thumbnails when you remove movies from it's queue in the program.

  5. I see there is the free version and the business version. From what I can tell, the business version is the same as free but comes with support and some other enterprise friendly benefits.

But for a business where you don't need support and only need it for a few machines, can you use the free version, or since you are a business you MUST buy the business version? I couldn't find a page that clearly spelled out the answer for me.
