  1. Moving and/or editing my posts are just fine with me. Again, thanks and I wish that I could give more. For many it is a bad time when it comes to money. Even though I have to watch my money it is not as bad as some. I came so close to being without a home. Now I realize with so much more clarity, respect and consideration of those that are homeless, in the street. So this free utitility for us who make it back to the internet is even more precious.
  2. Hello! I cannot recalling ever posting in this forum but I am now. I went to register so that I could post and found that I had already joined. Oh well. Oh, I recall that we were given a choice of joining the forum or maybe signing up for the newsetter (?) as a result of one updated version? Not sure, I don't pay that much attention. I am here just to say thank-you for CCleaner and that is because I cannot spend any extra monies to donate to the fine people who created it, manage the tech support and all that or who is related to such a fine utility. So thanks so very much for a handy, safe, spy-ware free, fast utility.

    Vista

Waving hello to the fine people in this forum! I agree with Keith. I believe that I have spent more time trying to deal with Vista than actually getting something done. I have spent countless hours trying to figure out the Search function. I find that I am unable to search for a word in the content as a means to identify a particular file is also very annoying. Dell techs have tried to explain the Vista search function although it is not a part of their jobe description. Vista seems to take the life out of internet research and computer work in general. (I am presently using Win XP and am unable to use my laptop with Vista. I had a bresak-in which affected my two laptops...I don't want to get into the details. I will merely say that I lost a lot...) I am glad that Keith posted his opinion which I believe more would support if they had the courage. What really is disheartening me is that MS is going to discontinue Win XP supports, updates, etc. while having created Windows 7. (I am too lazy to look up the last date of WXP support.) Windows 7 according to the Dell techs with whom I have spoken is built off of Vista. The wording "built off of" is not accurate but I cannot recall the exact, or think of any better wording right now.
