Yes, all prior versions did. v2.17 is the only one that doesn't.

Im using xp pro w/ sp3 and ie7. Im refering to the start menu recently used program icons. or most used programs shortcuts. not sure what the correct name is. They used to clean up after running ccleaner v216 but now with v217 all icons remain after running ccleaner.Since this is not working, just wondering if there might be something else not cleaning up that i havent noticed.Or maybe this is normal for this version only? I did roll back to v216 and everything cleans up fine. ( all icons in start menu gone) Thanks. This is not a big deal or anything just wonder if im the only one seing this

Since updating to v. 2.17, I can't clean start menu items even though its checked to clean on the side bar

I too have this problem since i updated to the v2.17. no startup menu cleaning. I'm rolling back to previous version until fixed.
