  1. Hi, I saw the post about accounts not being deleted because "there is no form for it". Well, I think Piriform can and should be a little bit more respectful compared to not removing its users forum accounts when they wish to. I want my account to be removed. I would be grateful if mods could help me about this. The reason is "because I don't want to have it anymore". I don't think Piriform will benefit anything from my forum content. Thank you in advance, Bye
  2. i don't think "newbie users" is the reason for keeping this way of behaviour. you can put a checkbox in the "Advanced" settings so that "Advanced" users may keep thinking that CCleaner programmers are caring of them as well as newbie users. in one of the topics admins stated that ccleaner doesnt't list items in registry that are unnecessary if they don't do harm. so i don't think ccleaner will erase any registry item that is necessary. it almost erases nothing anyway. so i don't see a danger in that. acting on the basis of "fear" is a primitive way of acting. only fashist ideologies expect people to first fear then act on the basis of that fear.
  3. hi to all again. i voiced the same issue here once. but the people who are responsible for "listening the users" heared nothing. i think they made this forum to learn how to run a forum. not for receiving feedback from users. i see many people are concerned with this "Stupidity Test" which comes from Micrososft traditions: Test 1: "Are you sure to delete the files?" "Are you sure to delete all of them?" "Are you sure to .... ... Test 2: "You did this. Click OK" "You did that. Click OK" "Someone did something. Click OK" ... ridicule....
  4. have you asked for help?
  5. if response from developers is "unusual" then it's awkward isn't it? why do they run a discussion forum with sections called "suggestions"? if developers -even though they do read all posts- don't consider the suggestions while they are developing further versions of CC then they are certainly killing the goose that lays the golden egg -as the old English men say. i everytime value software which is highly organic and customizable. IMHO, any software should be able to get customized about all its functions. if there is a confirmation box to code then it should be coded according to custmoziation priorities. CC has 3 dialog boxes redundantly appears anmd prompts the user for redundant mouse clicks. leting 3 more clicks to be would be a fatal mistake regarding highly competitive open source / freeware software scene. best,
  6. "hide warning messages" is already checked dude! sorry but it doesn't do what i asked for. you should read my posts.
  7. will there be any answer about whether if there will be an update about my suggestion?
  8. that option is for just one confirmation which is "will you backup" and at first place i didn't mention it. if you guys re-read my post you see i complain about 3 confirmations: "all or one confirmation" "r u sure confirmation" "press ok to continue confirmation" developers may put options for these three prompts just as they did for "will you backup". i think this is a fair suggestion and a decent demand.
  9. system: Win XP Pro SP3 when i click "Scan for Issues" in "Registry" Tab of CC, it lists the issues. then i have to click "Fix Selected Issues". Now the annoying part begins. 1. First a dialog box appears and asks if i want to clean one issue or all issues. 2. when i click "Fix All Issues" it asks again "Are you sure?" 3. then i have to click "OK" to close the dialog box and return to CC. why soesn't it just fix all when i click a button and don't bother me for confirmations and "all or one" stupidness? please put a new button near "Fix Selected Issues" button captioned "Just Fix All". And when i click it, it never asks anything but just fixes all. considering there hasn't been a big iprovement lately i'm sure this will be a big step for CC. thanx... regards...
  10. system: Windows XP Pro SP3 when i run CCleaner to clean, it cleans everything except the links of recently opened programs in start menu and list of files in "My Recent Documents" submenu of Start Menu. i run CCleaner again but it's the same. what's weird is that when i run for the third time, it cleans them. everytime it cleans when i run for the third time. never at first and secod! what is this? i would like CC developers to fix the bug. it's weird. thanx in advance...
