  1. Analysis Result - are these a just a static set of numbers from the start of a defrag. They do not seem to move. Current State does not seem to relate to the file list and its numbers. I have other questions about the numbers presented by the program. However, I do not hae the inclination to deal with each item. Is there an explanation of all of the numbers presented by the program before, during and after a defrag?
  2. I still do not know if the result statistics includes or excludes EXCLUDED FILES?? The data does not make sense to me.
  3. I agree that the displayed stats are indeed gross numbers. In my view they are misleading. The "allowed to be fragmented" files are known so a before and and after condition would be more helpful, I have to go into the file list to just verify that fragmentation was successful. It always is, but bragging about the actual value of the program (before/after) would be my wish.
  4. Although the overall counts are confusing to me I would like to know if the Fragmented Files list includes EXCLUDED files. Or, is it only counting files NOT on the excluded list?
  5. I have several large data files excluded from defraging. Are these excluded files included in the fragmentation count provided on the Main Page after running DeFraggler?
  6. The registry cleaning removes information used by WebRoot an anti-virus program. They have been notified as well. Hopefully a patch will solve this.
  7. I do not use the option to put big files at the outside tracks. It probably also counts excluded files which receive no treatment.
  8. I have defragged all the files that were shown on the File List. Started normal defrag and File List showed No Files To Be Defragged. However, the normal defrag operation shows 1,334 fragmented files and DeFragger shows it will run for an hour. I can understand the 1334 files if it is showing those I excluded. However, why does it run for an hour when the File List shows no fragmented files?
  9. Version 815 fixes the problem of persistent cookies resisting delete. Thanks
  10. The older version works but later using the latest version causes the rogue cookies to reappear. XP/SP3 and Firefox 3.04
  11. Yes, rev 2.14.75. I have two cookies that all efforts have failed to erase. If I knew where CCleaner looks for the cookies I could go there and erase them. They are probably corrupted so that they are read but the delete code does not recognize them.
  12. I am set to delete both IE and FireFox cookies but ghost cookies remain. None of the cookies are in the FireFox Tools\Options cookies list.
  13. Having reported the same problem, I tried moving the "ghost" cookies to the Keep column. Ran Cleaner. Then moved the "ghost" cookies back to the Remove column. But as always they never were removed. As noted the problem does not happen with 2.11. XP\SP3 Firefox 3 2.12.660
  14. Merci... Will follow your advice..
  15. There are 7 cookies in the left column of Options/Cookies. Running Cleaner does not delete them nor does Analyze indicate they are there. This has worked flawlessly in the past. Recently updated to V 2.12.651.
