Thanks a lot hazelnut, I unzipped into CClener program file and it worked a treat. Does this list of extra cleaning options update very often? Thanks, John.

A while ago on here, I found a link where I could add extra options to the standard CCleaner cleaning list, by going into the program file and adding something. Where can I find the latest update to this? Thanks
ps Hope you understand what I am talking about.

I was wondering why CCleaner does not remove these temp files, as doing a Windows 'disc cleanup' is the only way.
Does anyone know why these temp files are not included in the CCleaner sweep, and could they be add to the list of files to delete. Thanks
Anyone have any ideas on this?

Hi john_a,
Welcome to the forum!!!
I think this is just another Windows thing.Even after running "Disk Cleanup",if you run it again it will still show as 32K.
Don't forget a new update to the CCleaner Guide came out Feb. 06,2008.

Thanks for taking your time to make a report.

Thanks davey, but why aren't the WebClient/Pub Temp Files included in the CCleaner sweep?

Why doesn't CCleaner clean WebClient/Publisher TemporaryFiles?
I had hoped CCleaner got everything, but after running it, and then doing a Window's 'Disk Cleanup', I found these files still needed to be cleaned. Does this mean CCleaner is missing some files it should be cleaning, or can this be fixed please?
Edit: I posted this in CCleaner Suggestions as well, by mistake. Thanks

Considering JD Power has almost 2000 posts on this forum and you are still in single figures, may I advise you against making remarks such as the one quoted.
You are welcome on this forum to join in discussions etc but not to make remarks like that.
I suggest you give CTskifreak the same advise.
"It is like he totally skipped my post....talk about ignorance....and class..." and
"And it seems that you are being ignorant. "
It doesn't worry me in the least, I just joined here (read my post), but I think the same rules should apply to all.
That's all.
