  1. how I can move CCleaner software in other disk without uninstalling?

Why would you want to move CCleaner?

Just install CCleaner on the other drive.

Do you have a dual boot system? ;)

  2. Which version of Recuva are you using grimey?

It may tempt to recover jpg's and if you look at the filesize they are 0 bytes therefore they won't show in thumbnails.

There appeared to be a problem with the latest version recovering jpg files.

    JPG partial recovery

I think MrRon will sort this for the next version. ;)

  3. Your right Peter I downloaded Recuva 1.07.138 a few weeks ago and I only gave it a try on a few files on the HD and they worked ok. Now you mentioned it won't recover jpg's of your CompactFlash card will I put a jpg on a flash drive and deleted it and Recuva 1.07.138 wouldn't recover it.

You said Recuva 1.01.069 Beta would so I downloaded that version to try and yes it does. So I thought I would download the next version up Recuva 1.02.086 Beta to see if the bug has been sorted. But that won't even run.

RECUVA caused an exception c0000409H in module RECUVA.EXE at 0247:0043bde4.

I also downloaded Recuva 1.02.091 Beta but that has the same error and won't run.

So I'll stick with 1.01.069 Beta until the newest version is sorted. ;)

    Ok update.

I've downloaded and installed Recuva 1.05.118 and that will recover jpg's of my flash drive. ;)

  4. I've downloaded Defraggler 1.00.031 Beta. I installed and tried to run it but I get an error before it starts.

The Defraggler.exe file is linked to missing export Kernel32.dll:VerifyVersionInfoW.

    then

    C:\Program Files\Defraggler\Defraggler.exe

A device attatchment to the system is not functioning.

The Kernel32.dll is the original installed by Win98. Does it need a newer version?

    Reading the features

Defraggler supports all OSs released since Windows 2000, this includes Windows 2000, 2003, XP and Vista. Although 64-bit support is not included in this version, we are working on compatibility, so it will be available soon! Additionally Defraggler supports both NTFS and FAT32 file systems.

Is Defraggler only design to run on WinNT?

I know Win98 is old but I can't get WinXP to install anymore, so are there any plans to make a Win9x version.

I run CCleaner and Recuva with no problems and they work on all Windows systems.

Thanks, keep up the good work.
