Used trial version Pro. Downloaded tonight. Desktop disappeared. Just some new background. No icons. No internet. Have tried restarting adapters but one if the upgrades may have been the adapter “killer” app. So I don’t know if that rather than Ccleaner is the culprit. I got as far as updating programs. I also woke up all the programs to no avail. I did an unsuccessful system restore and there are no others showing to go back further. I did save the registry files in my documents folder so I could find them if needed. I don’t know how to restore them to the registry anyhow. I’ve worked for hours to get my computer back up. I have a Dell desktop, Windows 11. Help please. I can get around only using windows key and my graphics settings are messed up so I have trouble getting to menus. What a mess. I hope I can find my recovery files.
