Thank you nukehead... this is exactly what I meant with version 508. I know exactly what it does on teh Win7 computer, no more and no less, than what I want it to do, but...
Of course that is nothing that one can earn money with, I understand. It is the basic problem with software. A good, well-functioning software alwayss destroys its own business model. But I am happy to say, there are a few of those around, but ccleaner ist not one them... Take registry cleaning in 508 and 621. In 508 I simply delete everthing and never had a problem. With 621 I was more careful, and yet, I still had a huge problem getting my compouter to work the next morning. I had to install to an earlier restore point, but then was fine again. That also eliminated ccleaner completely
Updates are improvements, but... improvements for the user or the company?
