See... that is exactly what I am writing about... People like you are simply businessmen, and if it is useful, you will of course lie... About one hour ago I installed the security up dates and the monthly roll ups that was provided by Microsoft as Win7 March Update. I am sure, not even you are so stupid not to know that Win 7 is very well supported by MS, and the support might very well be extended in November once again I admit, my problems two days ago were my mistake. I knew better than to install any newer version of ccleaner again, and I still tried, as it has one (!) function, that actually is very useful I will find a substitute for it...

Thank you nukehead... this is exactly what I meant with version 508. I know exactly what it does on teh Win7 computer, no more and no less, than what I want it to do, but... Of course that is nothing that one can earn money with, I understand. It is the basic problem with software. A good, well-functioning software alwayss destroys its own business model. But I am happy to say, there are a few of those around, but ccleaner ist not one them... Take registry cleaning in 508 and 621. In 508 I simply delete everthing and never had a problem. With 621 I was more careful, and yet, I still had a huge problem getting my compouter to work the next morning. I had to install to an earlier restore point, but then was fine again. That also eliminated ccleaner completely Updates are improvements, but... improvements for the user or the company?

I am ONLY using Firefox. ccleaner cleans all browsers. I want to have all cookies and ALL passwords deleted from all browsers EXCEPT Firefox If I click the passwords on edge, or chrome or whatever, will it ONLY clean the passwords on those browsers (no matter how they got there.)??? I do not want to risk having passwords also deleted on Firefox. I want to make sure, because I have really had so many problems with ccleaner doing all kinds of things, I do not want it do. None of these problems existed, as long as it was possible to install ccleaner 508... NONE!
