I have exactly the same issue and CC cleaner is not offering any support. I received 1 e-mail from CC cleaner. The e-mail did not provide any solution, so I sent a reply and two reminders since it was not followed up.. Resumé: You are a paid user of CC cleaner. You use the driver updater. Some basic functions are lost (no more audio + microphone + Printer driver removed). The recovery function does not help. CCleaner provides no further support. Thanks CCcleaner for destroying some essentials on my PC and not even trying to solve it.

Hi team CC Cleaner, I have got a similar issue. Since I did the driver udpate in CC cleaner (in december), my sound and microphone is no longer working. Making it unable for me to do digital meetings for example :(. I have been trying to fix it myself, but nothing seems to work. I took among others the following steps: - Recovery in CC cleaner (says it can't recover Intel® Smart Sound Technology (screenshot included) - Performing all of the recommended Lenovo audio driver updates - Installing Realtek HD audio manager (I have installed everything I could potentially install). Nothing seems to work. I cannot even find the audio symbol at device manager. I need a solution soon. My laptop: Yoga C740-15IML Laptop (Lenovo) - Type 81TD
