That's correct, one click through gives you one chance of winning, two gives you two, etc...
-
With only 9 days of the PSP competition remaining I thought I'd pass on a few stats:
Number of people signed up to win: 3000
Number of people with more than 10 unique click-throughs: 210
Number of people with more than 50 unique click-throughs: 90
Number of those 90 who have cheated: ~75%

I won't show up unless the following registry key is present:
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Macromedia\FlashPlayer
I'll run a few tests and see if there's a better way to test for it.

Official releases are only available from links on this site or FileHippo.com, so don't trust downloads from other sites. Especially if they have been repackaged into a Zip file.
To help with this I shall release the new version within the hour....

Here's the current change log.
v1.21.xxx
- Moved Tools and Options into the listbar and they now load
into the main window rather than a new window.
- Fixed listbar display issue with Japanese characters.
- Added REMOVESELF cleaning parameter to delete folders and
not just empty them.
- Added cleaning for: Google Earth, Ad-Aware SE Plus,
Photoshop CS and CS2, Microsoft AntiSpyware,
PerfectDisk 7.0, Azureus.
- Updated cleaning for: Windows log files,
Real Player, Adobe Reader 7.0,
SpyBot Search and Destroy.
- Updated Swedish, Spanish and French translations.
- Minor display fix to the Applications tree.
- Minor interface tweaks.
-
It certainly hits home when it happens half a mile from your front door.
But let's focus on the Olympics!
-
Great idea!

I'll post a change log shortly...

It's getting close to release, so here's a preview screenshot.

This is caused by having the "Advanced" -> "User Assist History" checked. There is actually a warning in the program that this list of programs will be removed.

Ok, I am sure it is as plain as the nose on my face , but I can't seem to find it. is there a way to keep CCleaner from clearing out the programs that have been run from the "Start" menu. In other words when I click on "Start" there should be a list on the left hand side that shows all the recent programs I have run.I have looked on all the settings and nothing seems to say that to me. I sure one of you will tell me and then I will see that it was just right before my face and I will be embarrassed.
Thanks & have a good day,
Normandie

The winner will be picked randomly from the database of click-throughs.
I've already written the system to do that.
Of course I'll remove the multiple clicks and cheaters first.
Anyway, how is the winner picked? what sort of system is picking the winner? -
CCleaner doesn't touch the downloads of eMule, just the search history and file hashes.

Hi guys... nope you're wrong neither are me.
(Luckily I'm still blessed with a full head of hair.)
-
Good point... I forgot to update them

A friend asked me to help tell people about his site:
So I thought I'd email you guys about it.
I have to say I particularly like the train station background sound!

CCleaner is on BBC World TV!
There's a media download link in the left column.
(It gets a mention at around 20 minutes in.)

You generally get a few posts like that from competitors who try to "put down" other software without giving specific reasons.
-
Yup it's out, I'm just updating the website.

Yup I'm in London.
(Currently enjoying the heatwave!)

Once I get the translations back for Swedish, Portuguese, Spanish and Dutch.
If anyone is fluent in any of these and wants to help then let me know. (Knowing how to use Babelfish doesn't count!)
How soon is very shorty?? -
With regards to beta testing, I only sent out a beta version to a few people who had a large number of test machines they could put it on. But never fear, it'll be released very very shortly.

To start off the new security forum I thought I'd begin with a poll.
