johninda
Hi. I would like to be able to securely delete a file by right-click, select CCleaner and then delete. I'm a newcomer to CCleaner but, from what i can work out, i have to go into options - include - add - file - browse and then locate the file. All that is a bit messy and not really user-friendly. Right-click, delete would be useful. Thanks
Moderators Andavari Posted April 25, 2016 Moderators Share Posted April 25, 2016 If you leave Secure Deletion on anything you delete to the Recycle Bin will be securely deleted by CCleaner when it empties out the Recycle Bin. I however agree and have wanted a right-click secure file/folder delete option via CCleaner for many years, it's been asked for before but never implemented. trixsterdo
I agree with you. It would be most useful not having to run CCleaner in full everytime. Quite often I want securely delete a specific file
