CCleaner CLosing

Every time i click on CCleaner off my desktop to open it up to clean files it opens up then closes about 3 seconds later what do i do?

1. Right click the CCleaner shortcut and verify it has these default properties in the 'Target' field:

"C:\Program Files\CCleaner\CCleaner.exe"

 

if it has this "C:\Program Files\CCleaner\CCleaner.exe" /AUTO

it will automatically run, then automatically close.

 

If it doesn't have the default properties you can always edit the desktop shortcut to fix it.

 

2. Make sure you don't have it set to automatically close by opening: Options->Advanced

then make sure there isn't a tick in the box: Close program after cleaning.
