fireryone Posted April 5, 2007 Share Posted April 5, 2007 BBC World Service: Digital Planet - Whats in the future for Firefox 4.0 / 5.0 / 6.0 3D At the recent South by Southwest Interactive festival in Texas, Digital Planet's Peter Price caught up with Brendan Eich, widely regarded as a "father" of the internet and Chief Technical Officer of Mozilla Foundataion. Eich is credited with creating JavaScript and persuading AOL to give away the source code of the Netscape web browser to the non-profit Mozilla foundation in 2003. He is now in charge of the popular web browser Firefox. He explains how the web will evolve to take advantage of 2D and 3D graphics and describes what technologies users can expect to find in future releases of the browser.
