In this directorie are the most used apps, that windows use to start them faster, but after months and years, some apps and programs you don't use anymore but they're still in that directorie. Than runs windows slower. Glenn Posted January 5, 2007 Share Posted January 5, 2007 CCleaner's Old Prefetch data option does what its name implies or you can use Options > Custom to clean all Prefetch entries but there's really no point to either.
