dcoleman
I installed CCleaner to test and was impressed, but because I was at work, I was interested by the Portable version, as I wouldn't get nagged by the IT dept., for installing unauthorized s/w. I used CCLeaner's uninstall, but I now get an error from Portable saying that CCleaner is already installed, whereupon it aborts. I searched the registry and deleted any keys with CCleaner in them, but I still get the message. Any ideas? Dave
Eldmannen
No idea. CCleaner removes much stuff left behind by other software that has been uninstalled, what an irony of fate if CCleaner didnt uninstall properly itself.
Moderators TwistedMetal Posted August 30, 2006 Moderators Share Posted August 30, 2006 Make sure these 2 don't exist. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\VB and VBA Program Settings\CCleaner Program Files\CCleaner If either does, delete them.
