RatherSkinny
Very recently I build myself a new PC including * i9-12900k * 970 PRO NVMe® M.2 SSD 512GB * NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 * Kingston Fury Beast DDR5 6000mhz memory and more. I've got to say that I'm very disappointed at Speccy's performance. In the past I've absolutely loved this app but it's clearly outdated as for newer PC's. So.. Speccy is not showing me the CPU, just basic information and like its not working at all. No heat display options either which I was keen to use in my trey. Thats not all, it's not showing my Ram details either nor temps and my M.2 is also not supported. Not to mention the temperature numbers on everything in Speccy aren't moving at all. Is there planned update for Specyy? Is there anything I can do? (Reinstall wont work, tested) Does anyone have any information for this matter? Or am I simply not able to use Speccy and canceling my subscription for Speccy untill they do something about this? Guest johnccleaner
Unfortunately, DDR5 and M.2 technologies are not supported in Speccy at this time. I haven't seen the behavior you're reporting regarding the processor before, but I'll certainly mention it so that it can be investigated. I'm not able to reproduce the temperature issue you report; it might be best to get in contact with support via the Contact Us form located here: https://support.piriform.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=86507 or by emailing support@ccleaner.com directly so that a debug report can be collected from the Speccy software, as that might help determine why that behavior is occurring. At this time, I do not have any information regarding updates for Speccy.
