bartholimew
I am using CCleaner Pro and can't locate a function to clean taskview content in Win 10. Unless I missed the appropriate check box I find it unusual that CCleaner would not be able to do this. After all if ccleaner erases history files so why would they not offer taskview file erasing. Taskview holds alot of information that could be exploited. Even if taskview is turned off, the past information is there once it is turned on. JACoyle
You can disable the timeline feature through Settings. Go to Start>Settings. From within the Settings screen select Privacy>Activity History. From within the Activity History screen you then uncheck, "Let Windows collect my activities from the PC". Also, at the bottom of the Activity History screen, there is a button labeled, "Clear activity history". This will purge all of the collected data without disabling the feature. I personally like the feature but, I also like to clean it out every few days.
