Ccleaner doesn't run at startup

This is pathetic that I have to join this form in order to address an issue that is know. I've had hundreds of complaints that Ccleaner isn't running at startup. This is an option by selecting "Run Ccleaner when the computer starts" under Settings. I've told all these people to wait for the next update and guess what, a new update is available (version 5.45) and still isn't fixed. This problem became apparent after version 5.43. It seems with every version Ccleaner is getting worse with every version having more bugs and problems that it didn't have before. By the way I too have the same problems as the people with complaints, I'm using "Avast Free" for security if that helps to provide any additional information. So now I have to send hundreds of people version 5.43 and tell them not to update it, good job guys! Sorry but Ccleaner is turning into its original name that was at the get-go, "Crap Cleaner" because that's what it's becoming as a program. Oops, before I forget another issues is when you uncheck to "Enable Active Monitoring" to have that option disabled, it will automatically re-enabled itself after every startup. So for now, I will be downgrading to the older version like many other.

• What anti virus solution are you using?
