jengr2015
When are they going to update this version of cleaner? I ran a scan with my windows 8.1 computer today and it took 127 seconds. This has been going on ever since this latest version came out. For me it appears it gets stuck on the I.E. history. This scan normally takes 3 seconds. PLEASE FIX THIS VERSION! Moderators mta Posted April 5, 2018 Moderators Share Posted April 5, 2018 if you don't want to persevere with this version, you can always roll back and install the previous version. FileHippo keeps past versions. otherwise the normal release cycle is about every 4-6 weeks. there has been no official word, that I'm aware of, with a date for the next release. ident
Are you using MSE? Try adding it's directory to whitelist "C:\Program Files:\CCleaner" I believe IE history gets cleaned first which produces the appearance of "hanging". No fate but what we make
jengr2015
What is mse? I don't know how to add that directory to the white list. If I run a scan with I.E. history unchecked in cleaner it finishes in 22 seconds.
