HDD failure using Deep scan

Hello everyone,

I was trying to recover some permanently deleted files on the old PC. I looked on the internet for software I could use and I found Recuva. So I downloaded it and installed it. The first attempt of file recovery was successful and didn't last very long, but I didn't get all the files, so I launched deep scan. I waited for about an hour and came to see how the process is going. The progress was somewhere around 95 %, with about 5 million files found (1st step). Suddenly I started to hear strange clicking noises which hard drive was making which soon were followed by never ending beeping noise. I tried to move my mouse in the desktop, but it was frozen, I was unable to do anything just to shut my PC down with switch button.

After this, I tried to start the computer once again, but the HDD made the same beeping noise and the screen showed that there's no device to boot from.

I assume that the HDD has a mechanical failure, but what should I do? Can I recover the lost data by myself in any way or should I look for a specialist?

By the way, the PC is a laptop Asus K52F (Bought in the year 2010), I don't know about the hard drive.

Any help would be highly appreciated.
