no you're not the only one, there are plenty of threads, in CCleaner and Speccy, that report SSDs showing as HDDs (even vice-versa sometimes).

yep, some you can probably guess at being the fault of firmware or WMI interrogations, but there does still seem a logic problem in identifying the difference.

 

all I can add is the Devs are aware of it and there is a change in the pipeline to work-around this issue.

Backup now & backup often.
It's your digital life - protect it with a backup.
