Moderators mta Posted March 1, 2017 Moderators Share Posted March 1, 2017 no you're not the only one, there are plenty of threads, in CCleaner and Speccy, that report SSDs showing as HDDs (even vice-versa sometimes). yep, some you can probably guess at being the fault of firmware or WMI interrogations, but there does still seem a logic problem in identifying the difference. all I can add is the Devs are aware of it and there is a change in the pipeline to work-around this issue. Backup now & backup often. It's your digital life - protect it with a backup.Three things are certain; Birth, Death and loss of data. You control the last.
