Pugaj
Imagine you have a big file with several fragments - few dozens sized in KBs and several sized in 100s MBs. Setting a minimum fragment size would considerably reduce fragmentation whilst saving time and HDD health. Setting this minimum and defragmenting whole system would be much faster and very efficient. Pugaj
Oh, it really is on quick defrag tab. It is an old idea of mine, maybe from old version. Sorry. What are the default rules?
Moderators mta Posted December 3, 2015 Moderators Share Posted December 3, 2015 from the Piriform documentation page; http://www.piriform.com/docs/defraggler/defraggler-settings/defraggler-options-quick-defrag looks like there is only one Default rule, "skip files with fragments larger than 50MB". Backup now & backup often. It's your digital life - protect it with a backup.Three things are certain; Birth, Death and loss of data. You control the last. Pugaj
Thanks. It would be nice to have more configurable free space defrag.
