userABC Posted August 22, 2014 Share Posted August 22, 2014 When I have opened CCleaner and click to check for updates, it opens another instance of my browser instead of making good use of the one I have opened already. Moderators mta Posted August 22, 2014 Moderators Share Posted August 22, 2014 It all depends on how the hyperlink is coded with the Blank, Parent, Self or Top tags. I do mine with Blank so it opens a new tab, leaving my current one alone and not needing to click the Backwards button to go back to where I was, I just close the new tab. So there are pro's and con's to either method and personal preferences as well. Backup now & backup often.It's your digital life - protect it with a backup.Three things are certain; Birth, Death and loss of data. You control the last.
