danhasmail
Hi, I have been using Ccleaner for many years now. On 3/28/2013 I downloaded and updated to Ccleaner 4.0 version. When I run "scan for issues" under the "Registry tab" it scans then displays any issues found. The issues are check marked by default and I then i run "fix selected issues" and choose to or not to make a backup copy. I then choose to "fix all selected issues". It shows that it was fixed but if I run the program again, the issues are still there!!!! Does anyone know what the problem is. It's never done this before. CSGalloway
My Suspicion is that you needd to run CCleaner as an administator.... What operating system are you running?
Moderators mta Posted April 1, 2013 Moderators Share Posted April 1, 2013 Maybe try rebooting the pc after you 'fix' the registry. Backup now & backup often. It's your digital life - protect it with a backup.Three things are certain; Birth, Death and loss of data. You control the last. Alan_B
Does anyone know what the problem is. It's never done this before. No one can know what the problem is. My guess is that you have a problem with "Unused File Extensions." We can only guess, and the better you define the problem the better we can guess. I suggest you specify a particular issue that is not being fixed.
