How to disable "Windows Error Reporting"?

When I go to CCleaners Option page in section "System--->Windows Error Reporting" then I can

mark the checkbox so that currently EXISTING Error Reports are deleted at the next run.

But is there a way (in Win7) do prevent/disable the creation of such Error Reports in future

(so that there is no need to clean them later with CCLeaner) ?

Type services.msc in Start/Run box & hit enter. Right-click Windows Error Reporting Service & click stop.

Some may choose to do it through MSConfig as it also shows services, but I find services.msc to be more powerful in it's options.

Additionally, some may choose Right-click My Computer/Properties/Advanced System Settings & untick options under one of the tabs presented.

Still others may choose to import a .reg key with this service disabled.

But I think it will be much easier to just use the option given above at the very top of my answer.

You may decide to play around with options under the My Computer option given above to turn off additional reporting... Really up to you.
