Defrag Options

Just started using Defraggler and for the most part am very happy with the program. One thing I do not understand however is why, when files are moved to the end of the disc (by design, selected by option), are the subsequent ENTIRE remaining contents seemingly shifted to the 'left' to fill the empty space left behind.

A more appropriate action and far more efficient process would be continue defragging the remaining files in place on the disc and as a final step, to work 'backwards' filling space with files located at the end of the disc filling previous space created by the move.

This logic of moving the entire contents 'left' is painfully slow and terribly inefficient in my mind. I've read other suggestions and consider this, with options to move 'frequently updated folders' to the end of the disc to be major improvements.
