Defraggler locks / freezes when trying to add excluded directories

I'm running XP Home SP3, Defraggler version 2.01.239

 

When attempting to add excluded directories (Settings > Options > Exclude > Add > Drive or Folder > Browse), Defraggler becomes non-responsive. I've waited for up to 10 minutes, but eventually have to kill the process directly as even the 'end now' button won't work when prompted, though maybe if I waited long enough it would each time.

 

I've rebooted, I've removed my external drives, and I do not have any network connections (networked PCs) setup on this computer.

 

I used this feature before, but on a different Windows installation (same PC, same setup) and it was several months back, so it was a previous version of Defraggler.

 

I have the two files that are sent through Windows' error reporting (defraggler.exe.mdmp & appcompat.txt) if helpful, but as I don't know what the .mdmp file contains, I'd prefer not to upload it to a public forum until I can look into it.

 

This isn't a big issue for me, but would prefer to be able to use this feature.
