dstegner
Been using Defraggler for 6 months or so, like it. Noticed this in 1.2 but after upgrading to 2.0 today, I thought I would ask. Ran DEFRAG on drive, result no fragmented files. Ran FREESPACE defrag (not with fragmentation option). After freespace defrag, I have 75 or so fragmented files. From the docs: If you select Defrag Freespace, Defraggler will fill up freespace chunks with whole files only. If you select Defrag Freespace (Allow fragmentation), Defraggler will use file fragments to fill up freespace. If it is filling freespace with whole files only, why do I have fragmented files when freespace defrag finished??? Dave Edit: Just tried it with the allow fragmentation option and ended up with no fragmented files. Are these two options reversed or mis-quoted in the docs? dstegner
Does no one use freespace defrag and may be able to shed some light for me here? DAVE
eL_PuSHeR
This has been discussed earlier. There was a known bug in "Defrag freeespace" where options were, at least, inverted. I don't kwnow whether Piriform fixed it in v2 though. I do not use that option.
