mr don Posted November 6, 2010 Share Posted November 6, 2010 I am not sure which method is the default method that Defraggler uses to combine files + free space, but I was wondering about adding an additional option under the defrag custom rules for "grouping". Meaning, that the program tries to put the system files at the fastest part of the drive, followed by program files, followed by... etc. I am assuming that the current mask it uses simply find a hole & then drops files randomly into them.
