deletion of cookies

in lieu of "highjacking" another topic about cookies

 

my problem is the cookies I've left to be deleted - after carefully moving the cookies I want saved to the right column of the Ccleaner screen - are NOT being deleted after I run the cleaner. I've tried checking them before and after cleaning, as well as rebooting my computer and checking again. The cookies to be deleted are all still there.

 

 

This is an old Toshiba Satellite Laptop

Windows XP Home Edition SP3

Firefox version 3.6.10

 

and the most recent version of Ccleaner

 

Anything else you need to know?

If so, please tell me where/how to find it.

Hi nimbus, and welcome to the forum.

 

This is a known possible issue with the latest version of CCleaner. Have a read here, make sure you have followed the suggestions mentioned, and if no joy, try going back to the previous version as suggested in the thread.
