Frans Sanders
Hello, In Ccleaner I disable some programs from the startuplist by setting the Enabled key to Disabled. After rebooting my computer I got the message from Windows that my Boot.ini file wasn't there anymore or false. I must repair the boot.ini file using the install cd. Have I done something wrong or is this a bug? With Regards, Frans
Alan_B
Useful clues required, e.g. Operating System, version of CCleaner, actual start-up items which you disabled. Alan
Frans Sanders
I am using Microsoft Windows XP Home SP3. Ccleaner is the last one, version 2.34.1200 and I disabled DriverMax and System Explorer. Frans
Alan_B
A quick Google suggests they both have intimate relationships with the Operating System. So does Comodo Internet Security which protects my computer, and I know Comodo will defend itself to the death against being removed by malware or anything else which was not authorised. Perhaps DriverMax and System Explorer similarly object to CCleaner disabling them. Perhaps some-one here can advise about specifics, but I suggest you also ask on user forums for those products.
