A-Train
Does anyone know what CCleaner box to uncheck in order to save my Google Search preference settings? Every time I close Firefox and run CC, my settings revert to the default. It doesn't seem to be a cookie problem, because they're saved when I close Firefox, and the cookies boxes in CC are unchecked. Any suggestions/solutions would be greatly appreciated. Moderators Augeas Posted July 30, 2010 Moderators Share Posted July 30, 2010 I preserved my settings by adding google.co.uk to the cookies to keep list in CC, and it's OK in both FF and IE. Whether it'll work for you is another matter. Google's becoming a pain with all these 'improvements'. That annoying wait on mouseover for the main page options to appear, the inability to select UK only unless you've already done a global search, the display of hundreds of images when you only wanted to look at a few, etc.

Especially Google images. It wasn't broken and now they've fixed it. Thanks for the co.uk tip/ AT
