Alby
Hi, I accidentally deleted around the 75% of the contents of a 1TB USB drive (all under one folder tree). I haven't used the drive since. Am I able to Recuva directly to the same drive or am I at risk of overwriting data I'm trying to recover? Thanks, Alby
Moderators Augeas Posted May 28, 2010 Moderators Share Posted May 28, 2010 You are able to recover to the same drive, you are at risk of overwriting data waiting to be recovered, and with that amount of data the risk is just about 100%, which makes it a certainty. You need to borrow or beg another drive and recover to that.
