andirobinson
I recently downloaded and ran CCleaner and had a question about some of the suggestions that the program suggested to be deleted. Specifically, two of the items listed - Microsoft 2007 and MS Office Picture Manager. Does this mean that CCleaner plans to delete these two programs altogether?? It also included Adobe Flash Player as one to be deleted. Thanks.
Ishi
No, CCleaner does not want to delete those programs. It simply wants to delete log files and other junk files that those programs have created that are now virtually useless the same way CCleaner deletes Mozilla or IE's browsing history so its safe to run the cleaning operations while those are checked. I love computer maintenance tasks. Some of my favorite programs: Wordpad -basic word processing Notepad - temporary clipboard and basic scripting module Windows Media Player 12- video, music and online radio player Windows Media Center - live TV, local FM radio CCleaner- handy computer maintenance tool If something fails to work after using the registry cleaner, use SYSTEM RESTORE.
